Rob has introduced and managed several technology led undergraduate courses during his time a De Montfort University, including BSc Media Technology and FdSc Community Media Management. As Course Leader for BSc Radio Production & Technology, Rob has championed the innovative use of new media within the context of radio broadcasting and audio content development for the web. Rob was central to the £3.4m funding bid that resulted in the construction of the Creative Technology Studios in the Queens Building, a state of the art resource for media and broadcasting. Rob is the Station Director for DemonFM www.demonfm.co.uk, a full-time community radio station based at De Montfort University, and run as a partnership with De Montfort Students Union. Rob works closely with the BBC Academy to develop professional training for undergraduate learners, and with BBC Radio Drama to promote short-form audio drama online at www.audiotheque.co.uk.
